X-MEN

VENOM

Having worked with writer Larry Hama previously on GI Joe it was great to be asked to work with him again on Venom. The four part series was titled ‘Carnage Unleashed’ and still gets reprinted. I guess I must have done something right :-).

TRANSFORMERS

My career as a comic book artist pretty much began and ended with Transformers. I had done a few things before taking on the UK Transformers book but taking on the art of that book was what had me break into the US market. I have drawn these characters on many things for a number of publishers and companies. It began with Marvel and ended with IDW on Regeneration One. As many of you will know, RegenerationOne was a continuation of the Marvel G1 storyline. the original Transformers storyline. The one that began it all. With RegenOne, Simon Furman and I had the privilege of taking that original storyline through to its conclusion. Below is a selection of those Regen pages. They are pencil on animation paper rather than finished inked work as these processes are all carried out individually rather than on the same piece of artboard. Each page of art is signed and in a board backed cellophane protective sleeve.
